The Story Behind Mum & Mini Me Foods Private Limited
BrandName : Doughlette : The name Doughlette blends “cookie dough” with the suffix “-lette,” evoking something deliciously flat and comforting—like a palette—perfectly capturing the essence of our soft, indulgent cookie creations.
Every great journey starts with a heartfelt story, and ours is no different. I come from a software development background, having dedicated 15 years to the IT industry. Life was bustling, and work kept me engaged, but when the time came to prioritize my family, I chose to step back from the corporate world to take care of my kids—a decision I made just before the pandemic struck.
Being a foodie and a passionate cook, I found myself drawn to the world of baking during this time. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a craft I cherished. I mastered baking, began teaching baking classes, and took orders for cakes and cookies from home. My daughters were my biggest fans, devouring the baked goodies with delight—sometimes even a little too much!
However, this led me to an important realization: while my treats brought joy, many of them were made with refined flour (maida) and sugar, which weren’t the healthiest options for my little ones. This thought sparked a journey of discovery. I started experimenting with recipes, replacing maida and sugar with oats, millets, and whole wheat. The result? Delicious baked treats that combined indulgence with clean eating—something I could proudly share with my daughters and others.
The response was heartwarming. Families, just like mine, embraced these healthy yet delightful creations. Encouraged by their love and support, I decided to take the next big step: launching these wholesome products into the market.
And so, Mum & Mini Me Foods was born—a brand inspired by my journey as a mother and my desire to provide healthier options for my daughters. It’s a brand that reflects the love from a mum’s heart and the joy it brings to her mini’s plate.
